Disaster Aid USA Responds to California Wildfires
January 12, 2025 – Disaster Aid USA is actively responding to the devastating wildfires currently ravaging California. Our immediate focus is on supporting first responders by providing disaster relief kits tailored to their urgent needs. These kits are being prepared and packed to ensure rapid delivery to emergency workers on the front lines.
This critical initiative is made possible through our strong partnerships with R1R.org – Respect 1st Responders, bajabridges.org, Fire Ninjas, and California Rotary Clubs, who have been instrumental in supporting our efforts. Together, we are working to ensure that first responders have the resources they need to carry out their life-saving work.
In addition to this immediate aid, Disaster Aid USA is closely monitoring the evolving situation to determine when and how to deploy our Disaster Aid Response Teams (DART). These highly trained teams specialize in providing sustainable solutions and will be sent in once we have a clearer understanding of where our efforts will have the greatest impact.
“This is a complex and rapidly changing situation,” said Larry Agee Co-founder & Executive Director of Disaster Aid USA. “We are in close contact with local authorities and other NGO partners to assess the most effective ways to provide support. Our commitment is to respond swiftly and strategically to meet the needs of the affected communities.”
