Disaster Aid USA is campaigning for Donations to help victims suffering from the effects of the recent Mudslides in California. Donations do save lives, large or small, they make a difference to those in need.
On February 17, 2018, Texas DART Graham Sharp arrived in Santa Barbara, California. His mission is to aid the local VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters) as they prepare for another weekend of digging out mud.
The following week Disaster Aid USA’s Chairman of the Board, Wayne Beaumier, joined Graham and spent the weekend helping dig out residents.

Disaster Aid USA Domestic DART Graham Sharp has laid the groundwork for a great recovery effort with DAUSA and our local VOAD partner Habitat for Humanity. The recovery team helped dig out a local 1960 Gold Medal Olympic swimmer’s home. Mudslide damage was severe as the teams were required to dig out the majority of mud by hand before bringing in heavy machines to help. Graham and Wayne have also been visiting local Rotary Clubs in order lay the groundwork for a DAUSA California Domestic Relief Team.
Please consider making a donation to help those in need in California. To make a deployment specific donation, earmark your check or donation “Californian Mudslides.”
