Become a Water Ambassador for Haiti Now!

We need your help to spread the word and to help Disaster Aid USA provide more Sawyer water filters to Haiti. Rotary District 5890 Governor Dr.Eric Liu has set aside $10,000 for SkyHydrants in Haiti as part of his Global Grant funds.

Become a Water Ambassador for Haiti. (Individuals and Rotary clubs/districts). Take a box of 50 filters and provide 200 filter systems for needy households in Haiti. These filters prevent water born diseases such as Cholera, EColi, Giardia,etc.. Disaster Aid International will be doing short term & long term water activities , shelter and help families to rebuild their fishing, argiculture, and economic livelihoods that were destroyed by Hurricane Matthew.

SHORT TERM – Sawyer water filter systems with community education and home repair kits with locally purchased materials – roofing tin, lumber, etc.

LONG TERM – Disaster Aid International will also be installing long term water solutions including The SkyHydrandt System. Each one provides up to 5,000 gallons a day. A series of 4 SkyHydrants provides 20,000 gallons a day that lasts up to 10 years and have no moving parts that can break.

DIA is working closley with the Rotary District 7020 and Haiti Disaster Committee including Petionville, Port au Prince and Les Cayes clubs (home of the District Governor Elect). Our Haitian Rotary Club members and partners will be distributing the Sawyer lters and educating them on clean and safe water.

The people of Haiti desperately need clean water, so please help us by donating today and considering making a club or district contribution!
